This 3-Day Serengeti Safari Semi Luxury Fly in Safari package starts and ends at Zanzibar Airport. But it can be tailored to add more days in the Serengeti and other Tanzania parks. It can also be customized to include a flight from/back to Dar es Salaam (DAR), Arusha (ARK) or Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO) before or after the safari. Day 1 :

Flight from Zanzibar to Serengeti

Fly from Zanzibar Airport at 07:35hrs and arrive in Serengeti at 11:05hrs.

On arrival at Kogatende Airstrip, meet your professional and well-experienced local English-speaking safari driver guide.

After greetings, he will give you a short pre-safari briefing and then embark on game drive in Serengeti National Park for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade. The Serengeti, one of the largest parks in Africa at 15,000 sq km, is home to some three million large mammals and is made up of a diversity of landscapes with the southern region being dominated by the lush grassy plains that draw about two million wildebeest, half a million zebra and some quarter million antelope to make the hazardous journey in search of pasture when the autumn rains come.

Game Drives in Serengeti National Park Game Drives in Serengeti in search of Migration

The Great Migration (also referred to as "Serengeti Migration") is arguably the greatest wildlife show on earth. It is the largest single movement of wildlife on earth in search of water, pasture, and breeding grounds. Other than the great migrating herds we seek, we may also see cheetah, lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, wildebeest, hartebeest, topi, eland, crocs, Thomson’s and Grant’s Gazelle, amongst many more. With over five hundred bird species identified, the park is a veritable ornithological paradise, ostrich abound, secretary bird, marabou stork, and the largest flighted bird on Earth, the kori bustard. We will seek out these creatures with the keen intuition and experience of our "Wild guide" and, with day drawing to a close, we will wend our way to our lodge to unwind, dine and take our ease by the fire under the endless East African sky.

Serengeti – Zanzibar

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Zanzibar. Depart at 10:15 am and arrive at 2:25 pm. Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, our Serengeti Luxury Safari services will conclude.

Our safari experience was simply amazing and unforgettable. Godson was the best guide we could have ever possibly hoped for. He made sure that we enjoyed every minute of it and we did! He took care of every detail, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everything was organised. His knowledge of animals and parks, his patience and his politeness were second to none….and he was such good company too! We learnt so much from him about animals. When we arrived we said hi to a guide, but when we left we said goodbye to a trusted friend. If you're looking for a safari guide in Tanzania, Godson is the man. He patiently answered thousands of our questions, knows everything about the physiology and habits of the animals in the park and unerring seemed to lead us always to the most amazing animal sightings. I cannot convey how incredible this tour was! We spent 3 days in Tarangire National Park and took THOUSANDS of photos. Godson was an amazing guide, knowing just where and when to take us to specific locations. He was also extremely patient and beyond knowledgeable; answering our constant barrage of questions. When we decided to do our Safari in Tanzania for the first time in our life, our travel agent told us that he wouldn’t had sold us the trip if there wasn’t Godson free from other tours. Luckly he was free and then we understood why our travel agent said that to us: even if he saw all the beauties of the savanna many many times I could see his eyes gleaming like ours when we encountered lions and other animals. Could not recommend doing the Wildlife Safari Tour enough! As a female solo traveller, I was understandably nervous going abroad alone for the first time but Godson put me right at ease and we had the most incredible time. Having done safaris in other parts of Africa before, I knew what to expect but this was like nothing else I could ever have imagined. The game we saw from day one was simply amazing and I couldn't believe how lucky we got. The service, the food, the experience, literally everything was just perfect and I'm so glad I did it.
