Itinerary
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and after completing immigration formalities, a Martial Adventure Safaris representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to Arusha. As you embark on your 8-Day Luxury Tanzania Safari, you’ll have time to relax and unwind, depending on your arrival schedule. Take this opportunity to prepare for the incredible adventure ahead.
For your first night, enjoy a comfortable stay in a standard room at Arusha Serena Hotel, where you’ll be treated to a delicious dinner and a peaceful overnight rest.
Arusha Serena Hotel
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and drive to Tarangire National Park for a game drive with a picnic lunch.
Tarangire National Park (2,600km2) has an unrivaled landscape of open plains, dotted with thousands of baobabs. It is located about 120 km south of Arusha. Tarangire is known for its lions and huge herds of buffalos. This is one of Africa’s little-known gems and should be on the itinerary of all lovers of wilderness and solitude. The animals include zebras, wildebeest, buffalos, elephants, Maasai giraffes, and fringe-eared oryx (gemsbok). Predators include lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Birders will want to look out for the endemic ashy starling, rufous-tailed weaver, and black-collared lovebird.
Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Tarangire Sopa Lodge.

After breakfast, you'll collect a picnic lunch and drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive.
This is one of the most diverse of Tanzania’s national parks, a tiny (325km2) combination of Rift Valley lakes, dense woodlands, and steep mountainsides. Manyara is a birding paradise (more than 380 species), especially for waterfowl and migrants and the forests are one of the best places around to see leopards. Lions hunt on the grassy shores of the
lake. Most visitors tailor a visit to Manyara to fit in with a trip to one of the big three parks (Serengeti, Tarangire, and Ngorongoro).
Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge.

After breakfast, you'll drive to Serengeti National Park. You'll have lunch at the lodge.
You'll have an afternoon game drive in Serengeti National Park for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade. The Serengeti, one of the largest parks in Africa at 15,000 sq km, is home to some three million large mammals and is made up of a diversity of landscapes with the southern region being dominated by the lush grassy plains that draw about two million wildebeest, half a million zebra and some quarter million antelopes to make the hazardous journey in search of pasture when the autumn rains come.
Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge - standard room.

You'll have a morning and afternoon game drive in the park (or a full day with a picnic lunch) in search of migration.
The great migration is arguably the greatest wildlife show on earth. It is the largest single movement of wildlife on earth in search of water, pasture, and breeding grounds. Other than the migrating herds we seek, you may also see cheetahs, lions, leopards, buffalos, elephants, wildebeest, hartebeests, topi, elands, crocs, Thomson’s, and Grant’s gazelle, amongst many more. With over five hundred bird species identified, the park is a veritable ornithological paradise, ostrich abound, secretary birds, marabou storks, and the largest flighted bird on Earth, the kori bustard. You will seek out these creatures with the keen intuition and experience of our "wild guide." With the day drawing to a close, you will wend your way to your camp to unwind, dine, and take your ease by the fire under the endless East African sky.
Your meals and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

After an early breakfast, you'll collect a packed lunch and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater tour with a picnic lunch.
You'll descend 2000 feet (over 600 meters) to the floor of the crater. This 304 square kilometer enclosed ecosphere was formed some two or three million years ago in the massive explosion of a volcano once higher than Kilimanjaro and offers the best wildlife viewing opportunities in all of Tanzania.
You'll explore the forest areas inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food. With some 25,000 large mammals within the caldera, you will have the opportunity to see, in addition to the Big Five (elephant, lion, rhino, buffalo, and leopard), animals such as wildebeest, reedbucks, bushbucks, hartebeests, hippos, antelopes, both Grant’s and Thompson’s gazelles, to name a few, as well as over 500 bird species.
Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge.

EXCELLENT Based on 48 reviews Posted on tamar kVerified Outstanding Safari Guide and a Truly Memorable Experience with Godson We had the absolute pleasure of having Godson as our safari guide, and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better! Not only is he a highly professional guide who made sure we saw all the amazing wildlife up close, but he’s also an incredible person. He took care of everything for us and went above and beyond, even when our flight got canceled. He came back to pick us up from the airport, spent the whole day with us, and drove us back again—without expecting anything in return. Godson is kind, funny, and an absolute gem to be around. I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone planning a trip to Tanzania. You couldn’t be in better hands!Posted on Nassim GVerified Professional, kind and wonderful guide and person Godson is a wonderful person and guide. We have loved to make our Safari with him. His availability, kindness and professionalism make our trip very good! We will come back to Arusha and for sure we will make the Kilimanjaro climbing with himPosted on Dan GrayVerified Fantastic! Our safari experience was simply amazing and unforgettable. Godson was the best guide we could have ever possibly hoped for. He made sure that we enjoyed every minute of it and we did! He took care of every detail, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everything was organised. His knowledge of animals and parks, his patience and his politeness were second to none….and he was such good company too! We learnt so much from him about animals. When we arrived we said hi to a guide, but when we left we said goodbye to a trusted friend. So if you’re reading this review because you don’t know which safari company to choose don’t look anywhere else. Go with Godson and you won’t regret it..Posted on Nicolò MVerified The real Tanzania supervisor!!! Not a guide but a piece of the family. Godson is the best tour leader there is in Arusha. His great experience allows him to know every place to find the rarest animals in the different parks you will visit. It takes care of you for every logistical, health and cultural need. Always punctual and willing to drive endless hours to satisfy your thirst for knowledge and discovery. There can be no Safari without Godson in Tanzania: the two things are closely linked. Nicolò&SilviaPosted on erica fVerified Honeymoon in Tanzania This was our first Safari, organised for our Honeymoon.. and we couldn’t have dreamt a better week!If you search for an adventure, for days full of stories, curiosities and many, many animals, just book a Safari tour with Godson! We were in Tarangire, Serengeti for two nights and, last but not least, we went to Ngorongoro. Apart from the beautiful wildlife, we experienced the great kindness and humanity of Godson. Great experience: recommended!Thank you,Erica and MassimoPosted on Pam MVerified Two of the most magical safari days! If you're looking for a safari guide in Tanzania, Godson is the man. He patiently answered thousands of our questions, knows everything about the physiology and habits of the animals in the park and unerring seemed to lead us always to the most amazing animal sightings. He also seems to have a magic presence with the animals, while they run from other trucks time after time they came right over to ours, for the most up close and personal encounters.Posted on Sharlaina BVerified Beyond amazing, and so much better than we expected! I cannot convey how incredible this tour was! We spent 3 days in Tarangire National Park and took THOUSANDS of photos. Godson was an amazing guide, knowing just where and when to take us to specific locations. He was also extremely patient and beyond knowledgeable; answering our constant barrage of questions. I highly recommend him and Martial Adventure Safaris for an unforgettable and spectacular safari experience.Posted on Pietro ArzentonVerified An unforgettable experience When we decided to do our Safari in Tanzania for the first time in our life, our travel agent told us that he wouldn’t had sold us the trip if there wasn’t Godson free from other tours. Luckly he was free and then we understood why our travel agent said that to us: even if he saw all the beauties of the savanna many many times I could see his eyes gleaming like ours when we encountered lions and other animals. He is really passionate about nature and he guided us to the best spots in the park that let me took these amazing pics. Godson is absolutely the best guide for the safari in Tanzania!Posted on Naomi SmithVerified 5* Tanzanian Safari Experience! Could not recommend doing the Wildlife Safari Tour enough! As a female solo traveller, I was understandably nervous going abroad alone for the first time but Godson put me right at ease and we had the most incredible time. Having done safaris in other parts of Africa before, I knew what to expect but this was like nothing else I could ever have imagined. The game we saw from day one was simply amazing and I couldn't believe how lucky we got. The service, the food, the experience, literally everything was just perfect and I'm so glad I did it. Would definitely do this again! Thank you, Godson!!Posted on RozaVerified Safari trip with Godson We are SO lucky to meet Godson.
